今天学校给了田田和洋洋的学年报告。洋洋的除了总结外还有本“Learning Journey”,有文字和照片记录洋洋在幼儿园的学习和活动。比如老师教小孩使用照相机,说为了把学校介绍给别人,要拍些照片,让每个人自己选择要拍什么,并告诉小孩怎么使用照相机。洋洋选择拍学校的厨房,拍好后老师确定洋洋对照片满意后再打印出来。洋洋还跟老师说:“I have a camera at home. Mummy took a picture of me.”
这本“Learning Journey”首页还贴了两张(A4)密密麻麻的各项达标要求,分“Personal, Social & Emotional Development”, “Communication,Language & Literacy”,“Problem Solving,Reasoning and Numeracy”,“Knowledge and Understanding of the World”,“Physical Development”和“Creative Development”六大类。老师分别用颜色标洋洋是开学初或哪个学期达到某项要求。难得老师一项一项涂颜色,太细了,我都看不出所以然来,还有些细项没涂颜色,不知道是不是没达到这些要求,准备去问老师。
先来看看老师的学年总结吧:
Lisa is a sweet, happy and friendly member of the Nursery unit. She can link up with her peers to share her learning or operate independently within the Nursery unit selecting and carrying out activities. Lisa enjoys all aspects of the Early Years Curriculum including playing the water tray, painting, completing puzzles and threading activities. She has grown in confidence this year and is more eager to try new activities as well as share her ideas and thoughts in group time. Lisa can count by rote up to 29. She is fond of counting activities such as matching claps to a set of numerals. During games involving letters and sounds Lisa can copy and mirror relevant sounds and actions. In Spanish sessions Lisa listens carefully and can recall vocabulary, number names and colours. Lisa has been a joy to teach and I wish her every success as her learning journey continues.
洋洋在数学方面应该是不错的,在学校有次数字从1写到70,得到了校长的奖励。英语估计还需加强,从“Learning Journey”的记录看,她能说一些简单英语句子。洋洋在学校的朋友可能还不多,被邀请过一次去同学家玩,好在Birthday party还是参加了好多的。洋洋曾经跟我说她最好的朋友是Joan,就是以前来我们家跟她玩的Home Start的自愿者。但老师说她“has grown in confidence this year and is more eager to try new activities as well as share her ideas and thoughts in group time.”,算是有进步了。
准备多让洋洋参加一些课外活动,好在reception开始可以参加学校的课外班了。何说应该(投资)让洋洋去参加姐姐参加过的Perform之类的活动。
